The definition of Humble and Hungry, Chris Fake epitomizes what a Blue Star Player should be!

Former Blue Star standout defenseman and current coach is the definition of humble and hungry. While at Hun he was known for his relentless work ethic and competitive nature. Chris would do everything he could to make his team better and to make sure that he was the absolute best player that he could be. Chris is known for his grueling workouts with Coach A and putting in the extra work before and after practice. Every day before coaching at our Princeton Camp, Coach Fake was on the track at 6am pushing himself harder than anyone.

Over the years, Chris has earned a great deal of accolades, but none of this has gone to his head. All Chris does is work harder and thank his coaches and teammates.

When reading the Inside Lacrosse Article linked below, the following passage stood out as what shows Chris' humble approach to the game:

One of the first things out of Fake’s mouth was, “I’ve been blessed to be on a team with such great leaders, such as Ben Reeves, who’s been willing to do it with me after practice. And Chris Keating, who will show me what I need to do to get better. The leaders here care so much about us, so it makes it easy.”

When you read the Inside Lacrosse Article, take note of the extra reps and attention to detail in Chris' preparation for the game. This preparation in the off-season, before practice, after practice and leading up to the game. This extra work, lead Chris to a game where he held Connors Fields and Tehoka Nanticoke to a combined one assist and helped his team become the new number 1 in the nation!

Blue Star Lacrosse Camps!

Have A Blast!

Blue Star Lacrosse Camps are designed to be fun for everyone involved (that includes counselors too!) There are a lot of reasons to go to camp but at the end of the day we want campers to leave feeling exhausted and excited for the next day. We strive to create an environment that cultivates a player's passion for the game - we have found over 25+ years of camps that passion and attitude are the biggest future drivers of success!
