The 2020 White team had a breakout performance this past weekend at the Sweetlax Invitational, falling ultimately to Sweetlax Florida in the Finals.
En route the to finals, the 2020s went 4-0, beating the likes of The Rock and Patriot. The future looks bright for this grade as they reload for their next tournament NXT Philly Summer Invitational.
The 2019s battled hard all weekend against very stiff competition and ended on a high note Sunday, beating The NH Tomahawks and Sweetlax Florida to end the weekend. Overall they finished 3-2, falling to only Sweetlax Upstate by 1 and Sweetlax Florida by a couple on Saturday.
The older All-Star squad team had a strong performance this weekend as well, including a tough one goal loss on Saturday to the eventual Champs, Dukes 2018 and a nailbiter against Top Gun Fighting Clams 7-5. On Sunday, they beat the Buffalo Bison and then fell just short agains LB3 Atlanta 7-6.
The 2022s lost two games by one goal on Saturday to two very talented teams, The New Hampshire Tomahawks and the Connecticut Chargers. The amount of improvement in just one short week has been significant for this squad as they continue to work hard and compete against very stiff competition!
The 2023s ultimately fell to the NH Tomahawks in the Semi Finals of the Go Fight Win, after going 2-1 on Saturday, including a thrilling Overtime Win.
This group hustled hard all weekend, played for each and improved tremendously in just a few more games. Keep it up boys!
The 2024/25 team continued to get better and improve, playing some of the best local teams at Go Fight Win. Nothing could deter their attitude and spirit as Coach Sanzcyk and Co. continued to work with all players and focus on having fun while getting better!
The 2018 SJ team had a great performance at Trilogy Rider this past weekend, ultimately falling to Team Minnesota in the Championship Sunday Afternoon. The team went 4-1 on the weekend and had a very gritty win over national powerhouse St. Ignatius (California)!
Playing in a 2019 bracket, the combined grades of 2020 and 2019 SJ players faced stiff competition all weekend but battled hard. Going against older teams will only serve this group well in the long run as they continue to develop.
The combined grades of 2022/23 SJ team played against strong local opposition this weekend at the Trilogy Rider Tournament. The coaching staff is seeing tremendous improvement in just two short weeks and is eager to prove it to themselves this upcoming weekend at Rutgers!
This group of energetic and positive young players is just starting to come around as it competed all weekend against mostly older teams. They will be attending a Blue Star Picinic/Play Day this week against the North team in lieu of a tournament this weekend!
