The Shining Star lacrosse program is dedicated to teaching young girls the great game of lacrosse in a fun, safe, and positive environment. We believe in helping girls learn about their amazing abilities and capabilities both on and off the field. Lacrosse provides an ideal opportunity to discover the pride in being an athlete, to grow in confidence, and to develop an understanding of dedication and teamwork. Shining Star wants girls to have fun playing the game while making great friendships and lasting memories. Girls will leave each session feeling more confident about themselves as players and more importantly, as young women!
We want all girls who join the Shining Star family to know that their coaches are there to help them grow into strong lacrosse players and confident young women.
Director Beth Serughetti
Director Beth Serughetti comes to Shining Stars with 25+ years of coaching experience including 25+ years coaching High School girls lacrosse, 4 National Championships as a player at TCNJ and 2 NJ Championships as an assistant at Moorestown High School. Her approach to the development of youth girls lacrosse players is simple: no stress and positive encouragement! In addition to Beth, the rest of the coaching staff exemplifies the guiding spirit behind the program.

About Us
Blue Star Girls Lacrosse is based out of Medford and Northern, NJ and provides instruction for girls in grades 3 - 8 through camps and clinics. Blue Star's goal is to develop confident young women and athletes through the sport of lacrosse. Players who come through Blue Star will leave more skilled, more confident, and stronger lacrosse players!
