Chris Aslanian is a Westfield NJ native, two-time All-Northeast Conference attackman, former Princeton University assistant coach and current professional lacrosse player. He was a second round draft pick in 2019 for the Denver Outlaws and is currently on the PLL Boston Cannons.
A two-time All-Northeast Conference attackman for Hobart Mens Lacrosse, Aslanian began his college career by earning the 2016 NEC Rookie of the Year award and ended it by winning the Francis L. "Babe" Kraus '24 Memorial Award as Hobart's top male senior athlete. He finished his career with 192 career points, with 98 goals and 94 assists, and he ranks seventh all-time at Hobart in points, as well as 18th in goals and seventh in assists. As a senior he was named a USILA Senior All-Star and won Hobart's Crook Family Award, which is presented annually "to the member of the lacrosse team whose leadership, outstanding play, sportsmanship and all-around value to the team have proved to be superior."
Aslanian had a 42-point rookie season (22G, 20A) for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse in 2019, when he helped his team to the MLL championship game while becoming a finalist for the MLL's Rookie of the Year award. He also played for the Outlaws in the 2020 season, when he was fifth in the league in scoring while again helping the Outlaws to the championship game. He spent the 2021 outdoor season with the Whipsnakes of the Premier Lacrosse League, helping the team to the championship game. He is now playing in his 6th season of professional lacrosse for the Boston Cannons.
