PRINCETON- These past two Sundays at The Hun School, the entirety of our Blue Star program descended on to the bowled Turf Field with a singular mission in mind; improving their skills with a smile on their face.

The 4 hour-long sessions led to plenty of opportunities to train individual skills with our impressive group of coaches (more on that to come), and a long-awaited chance to compete with and against friends new and old.

Blue Star is dedicated to teaching players the game of lacrosse and making them the best players and people they possibly can be!

The Coaches

Who's Coaching You Really Matters!!!

Chris Aslanian. Gerard Arceri. Shane Knobloch. Carter Page; the list goes on. This is not just speculation about who might be playing in the PLL in a few years, this is just the beginning of the list of coaches out to work with our players these past two Sundays.

Faceoff Work

Tyler Barbarich and Gerard Arceri (PLL Atlas, Penn State) brought a wealth of knowledge at the X to our players looking to learn to dominate possessions for their team.

Goalies

Ryan Croddick (Princeton), Shayne Ryan (SJU), and Dan Fowler (Wingate) worked with our goalies all morning on footwork and reaction time. 3 different programs goalies, all in the top 20 at their respective level means there was plenty to learn!

Offensive Stations

Carter Page, Aidan Clark and William King of St Joe's all ran shooting stations for the offensive players.

Chris Aslanian and Shane Knobloch taught the offensive 2 man game.

Luke Wiles brought a career of box experience and concepts to the field game to help the players learn to navigate the prime scoring area.

Defensive Stations

Our own Dean Lamela (Penn State) led his infamous approach drill and taught the boys to do simple, well.

Levi Verch and Harrison Oehler got the defensemen competing over hard-fought groundballs.

Murf Butler had the longsticks get comfortable with their stick work through his skip pass progression drills.

Blue Star Lacrosse Camps!

Have A Blast!

Blue Star Lacrosse Camps are designed to be fun for everyone involved (that includes counselors too!) There are a lot of reasons to go to camp but at the end of the day we want campers to leave feeling exhausted and excited for the next day. We strive to create an environment that cultivates a player's passion for the game - we have found over 25+ years of camps that passion and attitude are the biggest future drivers of success!
