2024 Blue/Navy - Aloha Cup Champions!!!

The 2024 Blue and Navy Group captured the Aloha Cup this weekend in Northeast Maryland! Coached by 8-year Pro Box Player Luke Wiles and former UPENN and UVA goalie Mile Thompson, they went 4-0 on the day with dominating performances. The accumulated wins over the Breakers, Brotherly Love and SCYL.

"Grayson Thompson proved to be a dominant force with great patience in front of the net, he didn’t miss. His footwork from mid-range shooting was deadly. Had the short side bottom corner locked in. 3 for 3 to that spot with good crisp overhand shooting,"  said Coach Wiles.

"Jacob Feeney had a strong performance, showing patience and finishing at an extremely high clip. His playmaking and decision-making were on point."

Both Face-Off Men competed hard and won over 80% of their face-offs controlling the X all day, some of the credit can go to strong wing play from all of our middies.

Defense and goaltending were steady only giving up 7pts in 4 games.

2025 Orange

This weekend at the Aloha Cup the 2025 Orange team made the championship game by going 3-1 on the weekend. Offensively, the boys impressed the coaching staff with their ability to get the ball around, initiate dodges and get the defense moving. Joe Smith and Luke Grant specifically did a great job getting to the goal and scoring goals.

Defensively, the boys played great as a single unit, with Luke Renshaw being the main voice telling guys what to do and where to go.

2026 Blue/Navy

The team had a strong showing for their first tournament of the fall season.  Playing really well out of the gate they fell to eventual pool winner Team Maryland 9-7.

The team bounced back later in the morning with a 9 to 1 victory over Headstrong.  In the last game of the day,  they played strong Team Lacrosse winning 7 -1.  On the day the offense scored 23 goals while the defense gave up only 11.  The team was close to playing in the finals.  Solid performances on offense by Trey Cioll, Caleb Diaz, Nolan Embley, and William Morgan among others.  Aiden Montana and Hayden Nieves had a solid day taking face-offs.  Goaltenders Charlie Hartsell and Tom Holland both looked strong in the net on the day.  The team now looks onto Lehigh Fall Finale in two weeks.

2027 White

The team came out swinging scoring early and often at NXT Mid-Atlantic. The defense and goaltending matched the energy leading to a dominating win, 12-2.

Facing a tougher bigger and more physical team in game two, the team answered the call in the first quarter with really high-quality attack play from Koby Waldman and Colin Blekicki. NXT took the lead due to stellar goaltending which swung the momentum. Despite Blue Star dominating the scoring opportunities in the second half, NXT came out on top.

In the third game, it all came together for the team. The energy remained high, with an effort from all players. Stick skills shined showcasing unselfish play and rapid ball movement; the offense flowed like water. Koby Waldman put on a clinic scoring two unassisted goals (of his 5) back-to-back without a defender even touching him. This helped lead the team to an 8-2 win; finishing 2-1 on the day!
