Format/Rules

 

We will play four 12 minute quarters with 2 minutes between each quarter. Half time will be 4 minutes.  

 

2018 NCAA rules. No 80 second shot clock, no diving.

 

Some information in regards to what the refs are told:

 

1. 30 seconds to touch it in

2. Timeouts only past offensive restraining  line.

3. Flag down , keep on playing until a goal is scored, defense gains possession, ball goes out of bounds, offensive payer commits any foul, a second foul by defensive team is another flag EX: loose ball push.

4. Goalie doesn't get 5 seconds 

5 Don't count face off violations

6. On restarts, make sure to get 5 yards

7. If a team is stalling, a twenty 20 second timer and then a visual 10 second count. If ball hits goalie or pipe it takes timer on off.

 

 

You get one timeout per game and it cannot be used within the last 4 minutes of the game. There is no overtime in pool play.
