Blue Star Lacrosse is looking for an individual to be the full-time Director of the Blue Star Girls All-Star Program. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and self-starting individual to help build the girls' side of the all-star program. This individual will be supported by a full-time staff at Blue Star and receive all the benefits of working with experienced club lacrosse operators. The Director of the Blue Star Girls All-Star Program will receive support from current Blue Star staff. This individual must be a self-starter and driven to help build a program from the ground up!!

Travel and weekend work will be required as is the nature of the club lacrosse world.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of the Girls All-Star program
• Planning, staffing and executing all girls programming which includes, but not limited to: clinics, tryouts, practices and all-star teams
• Hiring and staffing all coaches
• Overseeing the teaching curriculum as well as the character-curriculum consistent with the Blue Star brand
• Manage the website and social media presence of Blue Star Girls, i.e. posting to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
• Oversee the communication with all parents and players in the Girls All-Star program

Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Strong Leadership skills – this individual will be the face of the Blue Star Girls Program!
• INITIATIVE – the Director of the Blue Star Girls Program must be self-motivated!!
• Ownership mentality for position-related responsibilities and Blue Star as a whole
• Lacrosse Knowledge/Coaching – must have played in college and have experience coaching for several years
• Excellent Communication Skills – with players, parents, coaches and other Blue Star Staff
• Problem Solver – quick decision making and problem-solving will be vital in this environment
• Strong time management and organization skills-- ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with the position
• Ability to work independently and also in group settings

Blue Star Lacrosse, a nationally recognized lacrosse club travel program based out of Princeton, NJ is looking for a highly motivated filmer to come to tournaments this summer and create highlights/upload to our servers. We will allow this person to create as much or as little content as they want! Content can range from short 1 minute instagram videos to full fledged 5 minute youtube videos. The primary job of this part time internship will be filming games on the weekends and uploading to our film platform so that our players can use the film for their recruiting videos.

The filmer must have transportation and his/her own camera. Blue Star lacrosse will provide memory cards and the cloud server. The filmer will be expected to film games during the tournament and then upload during the week. While they upload and go through film, they are more than encouraged to make highlights and send clips to us to post and share with our families and use in marketing materials!

This job will be paid, $2,000 flat fee with a discretionary bonus opportunity up to $500.

Blue Star Lacrosse is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to spearhead an exciting social media position with us this summer. The position will run from approximately early June through the end of July. We are looking for a qualified person with experience both in social media, specifically instagram, and some background in iMovie as well or any other editing platform to create short clips. This person will be responsible for attending Blue Star Lacrosse events on a weekly basis and distributing and creating content for distribution via our online channels such as instagram and youtube.  

Given that we have camps, practices and tournaments going on all within the summer, we are looking for a highly organized individual to help coordinate logistics for this upcoming summer. Having a large car/truck will definitely help with this job!

Responsibilities will include: 
- Coordinate logistics for camps, practices, 
- Coordinate supplies for every tournament and camp
- Placing orders and creating designs for team apparel
