5/6 Finish Summer Season on a High Note
The 5/6 Blue Star team faced stiff competition throughout the weekend, playing some of the best players from Pennsylvania and Atlanta. The highlight of Saturday was a hugely exciting game against Mesa Fresh, including outstanding play from Blue Star's goalkeepers Colton Carfello and Carter Johnson that forced the game to finish in a tie. Despite some tough losses, the team used a nifty behind the back assist to rally for a come from behind win in the last game of the season against a talented PA Roughriders team.
Congratulations to all of the players on an amazing season! Looking forward to a bright future with this group!

7/8 Starts Hot, Finishes 2-2
The 7th and 8th grade team kicked off their last tournament of the summer with a tight 6-5 win over TeamTen. They won their first game on Sunday morning, before dropping the final two games to tough competition.
Congratulations to all of the players and parents who made this inaugural summer season a memorable and successful one! The improvement from the first tournament of the summer to the last was remarkable!
